Coronation Street could see the exit of one iconic character next week, 47 years after their debut on the ITV soap. It comes amid a new storyline which could see the star exit the show.

Spoilers for next week reported by the Mirror have indicated Tracy could flee the cobbles to join Tommy in Spain. Steve comes across a letter from Tommy inviting Tracy to move to Spain with him and hides it.
Elsewhere, Tracy admits in a candid chat with Amy that she misses having a man in her life. Steve returns home and goes to reach into his pocket for the letter when he's left surprised at Tracy confessing she'd like them to get back together.
She assures Steve that her affair was nothing more than a silly mistake and that she's back for good. He of course leaves the letter hidden and goes to get a bottle of wine to celebrate.
