The wedding looked set to be called off earlier this month when Toyah finally found out that her fiancé was the father of Abi Franklin's surprise baby. The councillor, who has longed to be a mum, knew Imran had cheated on her but chose to forgive him as they planned to adopt.
However, in scenes aired earlier this month, Toyah discovered the truth about Imran's one-night stand and revealed at her and Imran's adoption hearing that her partner been cheating on her and had a secret baby with their drug addict neighbour Abi. This quickly turned into Toyah kicking Imran out of their home and Toyah having to say a heartbreaking goodbye to foster daughter Elsie after she wasn't allowed to adopt the little girl on her own.

But in a twist, Imran soon came crawling back to ask Toyah if she would consider getting back together and raising his son Alfie as a family. Despite giving a firm 'no' at first, Imran shared his concerns that Abi might be back on drugs and told her that he intends to fight for custody of Alfie and wanted them to raise him together. Toyah eventually agreed that she'd help him.
However, Corrie fans were quickly sensing there would be a plot twist, believing Toyah has an ulterior motive and were wondering if she wants to adopt Alfie by herself or turn on Imran in a bid to help Abi get her life back on track despite her betrayal.
