Jaden Thompson Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy “Irish Wish,” starring Lindsay Lohan. The movie marks Lohan’s second Netflix original following her 2022 holiday movie “Falling for Christmas.” “Irish Wish” is set to stream on March 15. Netflix’s description of the film reads: “When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie (Lohan) puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland.
Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. But as her dream gets closer to coming true, Maddie realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.” As the trailer reveals, Maddie finds herself questioning what it is she truly wants as she gets to know a charismatic wedding photographer (Ed Speelers). Filmed on location in Wicklow, Ireland, “Irish Wish” promises plenty of scenic vistas to serve as the backdrop for Lohan’s latest rom-com.
The rest of the “Irish Wish” cast includes Alexander Vlahos, Jane Seymour, Elizabeth Tan and Ayesha Curry. Lohan’s younger brother Dakota is also featured in the film. Janeen Damian is the director and Kirsten Hansen penned the script.
