Irish alt-rock outfit Rowan drop new single Honesty from forthcoming debut album

Singer and ex-One Direction member Liam Payne went viral on Sunday 27 March night when he debuted a bizarre new accent on the red carpet at Elton John AIDS Foundation's annual Academy Awards viewing party. Forgoing his well-known Wolverhampton accent for a seemingly Irish-American twang, he left viewers scratching their heads.

Fontaines DC have released new single ‘Skinty Fia’, the title track from their new album, which is out next month.“Skinty fia” is an Irish phrase which translates to “the damnation of the deer” and is an expression of disappointment or annoyance. Frontman Grian Chatten says in the context of the album title and this song it expresses his feeling towards the “mutation” of Irish culture abroad.The album is out on 22 Apr, and the band have just added a run of UK and Ireland shows to their already hefty world tour schedule to close out the year.

Aldous Harding has shared a new single today, ‘Fever’ – listen to the track below.It’s taken from her upcoming new album ‘Warm Chris’ and follows on from the previously released ‘Lawn‘. The New Zealand musician will release the follow-up to her April 2019 record ‘Designer’ on March 25 via 4AD.‘Warm Chris’ was produced by John Parish (who also produced ‘Designer’ and Harding’s 2017 LP ‘Party’), with all 10 tracks being recorded at Rockfield Studios. Harding’s 2021 single ‘Old Peel’ does not make the final cut, however.The album includes contributions from Sleaford Mods’ Jason Williamson as well as H.
