Last autumn, countless viewers were hooked on E4 reality show Married at First Sight UK, when a new batch of lovelorn singles agreed to take part in an experiment to see if a panel of experts could help them to find their matching other half. With the help of a team of seasoned experts including Mel Schilling, Charlene Douglas and Paul Brunson, the singletons were swiftly paired up after an intense screening procedure, that helped to find the perfect match - even if it wasn’t always what our couples thought they wanted.Throughout the course of the experiment, a number of the couples parted ways after realising they were incompatible in the long term, however a number of others have managed to go the distance, with some still even going strong now, several months after the show concluded.
