Step-inside this hoarder's house that was deemed so unliveable that the owner was removed and the property condemned.
The one-bedroom house, which was only abandoned a year ago, looks as though it has been empty for decades - covered in dirt and cobwebs.
Dotted around the cluttered house are dilapidated typewriters, ornaments and food tins, as well as an old wooden piano.
The photos were taken by urban explorer Grant Vincent, who spotted the house in Edinburgh.
The house was inhabited by a young teacher who appeared to be fine to the outside world, until social services visited and removed her and her dogs from the property.
A bed was found in the attic and a caravan in the garage, where the woman was believed to have been sleeping as the house became more cluttered.
"No one really knew she was living like that or for how long," said Grant.
"She was physically fit and healthy.
"As the main house became uninhabitable room by room she eventually moved into the area at the back of the house.
"The property was only 'abandoned' late 2020-early 2021 after social services did a welfare check and discovered the horrific conditions she was living in and immediately removed her from the property and placed her in a home.
"The house was condemned, deemed unfit for habitation.
"Walking around was quite difficult as the floors were extremely cluttered.
"You could tell the person was a hoarder.
"The more I looked though, I began to spot some pretty interesting items, which can be seen in the photos. I tried to capture what this person's life would have been like and the interests they had."
