Bargain Hunt has been on TV for a whopping 23 years, and in that time we've seen a number of presenters sharing their expertise in the world of antiques. One of these is Natasha Raskin Sharp, who specialises in contemporary art and has been following in the footsteps of her father.
The Scottish TV presenter, 37 is well known for offering up her knowledge on Antiques Road Trip and Baggage Battles. She's also hosted story segments for The One Show, is a regular presenter on BBC Radio Scotland and of course, presents Bargain Hunt too.
While Natasha has made a name for herself in TV and antiques, she's also known to be the daughter of contemporary Scottish artist Philip Raskin.
The 76 year old specialises in painting landscapes and seascapes which are breathtaking. Speaking about her artistic routes, Natasha said: "I was gently nudged in the direction of the antiques trade and auction houses by my dad, who thought that I'd be well-suited to the environment. "Although I'd never normally admit it, he was absolutely right!" Her father's work has been featured in many exhibitions and has been sold across the globe.
Phillip studied at the Glasgow School of Art, but before becoming a full-time artist, he was a restaurant proprietor for 20 years. Taking on his creative side, Natasha developed an interest in the profession through auctioneer McTear's, who was selling Phillip's work. Back in 2015, Natasha sold her father's work and one piece called From Here to Eternity was scooped up for £600.
