EXCLUSIVE: Former A3 agents Katt Riley and Nick Beldoch have joined the Lit department at Independent Artist Group, Deadline has learned. Just two of over 25 agents IAG has recruited over the past 18 months, they’ll be reunited at the agency with former colleague Fatmata Kamara, who was hired as a talent agent earlier this month.
“In an ever-changing landscape, we are thrilled to welcome Katt and Nick as colleagues whose tireless advocacy for their clients immediately adds strength and depth to what we are building in the Lit department at IAG,” said Lindsay Howard Parker and Adam Kanter, to whom they respectively report. “We have long admired Katt’s tenacity and ability to nurture the careers of her talented writer & director clients while Nick will represent his own emerging clients and serve as an invaluable enhancement on multiple client teams.”
Over the last three years at A3, Riley was responsible for putting multiple series on the air and jumpstarting pre-greenlight mini rooms. Notable clients include Matthew Scott Kane (Hysteria!), Andrea Thornton Bolden (Nancy Drew), Amy Jo Perry (How I Met Your Father), Zach Calig (Lincoln Lawyer), Kendra Chapman (Force), Lijah Barasz (Apples Never Fall), Kimberly McCullough (Neon, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), and Heather Jack (Search Party, Dickinson), to name a few. Additionally, she reps and has worked with numerous pilot directors and high-profile episodic directors, having served prior to A3 as an agent at Paradigm and Kaplan Stahler.
Working with emerging writer, director and producer clients while in the Motion Picture Lit department at A3, Beldoch was previously an assistant in the Scripted Television department at CAA, where he started in their mailroom.
