Overall, the mum-of-two lost 7 stone 6.5lbs and now weighs 9st 5.5lbs and can slip into a size 10 with ease. Genevieve, now a weight loss consultant, from Congleton, Cheshire, said: "I didn't really struggle with my weight in my younger life.
"It was more in adulthood. I found I could lose weight successfully, but I couldn't keep it off. During the pandemic, I started struggling and got out of control with eating.
"I knew it was bad for me, but I couldn't break out of the cycle. Eventually, I started to worry about my health and if I carried on like this, I wouldn't be able to see my kids and family grow up.
"We went on holiday to Spain and it was the last straw for me. On the airplane, I was almost needing to get a seatbelt extender and I was mortified.
"I was emotionally eating, and I struggled to get away from that. When I returned a year later, I felt confident in myself. I enjoyed the clothes I was wearing, and I wasn't trying to cover myself up."
She added: "I was ill on holiday, I had digestive issues
