I'm A Celebrity's Gillian McKeith and Shaun Ryder's 'feud' explained

I’m a Celebrity... South Africa is in full swing, as some of the most memorable campmates have entered the jungle for a second time. The new series sees hosts Ant and Dec take the usually Australia-based ITV show to South Africa’s Kruger National Park.
In Monday’s episode, the contestants welcomed a new campmate, I’m A Celeb legend Gillian McKeith. The Scottish nutritionist joined Carol Vorderman, Shaun Ryder, Helen Flanagan, Janice Dickinson, Amir Khan, Jordan Banjo, Fatima Whitbread, Paul Burrell, and Phil Tufnell in the camp.
Gillian was a contestant in the 2010 series of I’m A Celeb where she famously appeared to faint before a bushtucker trial. Shaun also took part in that series, during which time the pair had a turbulent relationship.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph on Monday following Gillian’s arrival, the Happy Mondays star said: “Gillian arrived in a box, she should have stayed in a box folks.”
But what caused Gillian McKeith and Shaun Ryder’s 13-year I’m A Celeb ‘feud’?
Shaun and Gillian repeatedly clashed during their time in the jungle, which lead to the Madchester icon labelling her “irritating” and “a bit of a d***". The pair butted heads during a trial in which they were forced to stand in freezing water, as Shaun branded Gillian “a f***ing irritating woman.”
A frustrated Gillian replied: “You say nasty things all the time... your tone, everything. The way you speak to everyone.”
Another tense moment came when Gillian asked Shaun not to smoke in front of her. The singer responded: “You f***ing what? I’ll smoke where I want, you can go in the f***ing toilet.
