I'm a Celebrity legend Gillian McKeith has said that going back on to the show that "terrorised" her was "worth it" for the six-figure payday. During her first stint on the ITV reality show, Gillian clashed with her fellow campmates and put herself in the history books when she fainted during a live trial. When asked if the money was good, Gillian told OK! Magazine: "Yes.
Of course. Why does anyone do it?" She then confirmed that she was paid "six figures". "So of course it is worth it," she added.

I have lots of insect phobias, but spiders are the worst. I don't want to get close up to spiders. "On what made her sign up for the show back in 2010, Gillian shared a view that other campmates have expressed in the past: She thought it was simply just a set and they'd stay somewhere else at night.
"I didn't know the show. I thought it would be an experience and put me out of my comfort zone, but I didn't understand until I got in," Gillian admitted. "I was in complete shock.
I hadn't watched one episode. I knew it was in the jungle, but I thought it would be a TV set, we'd go there, film and then we'd go to a hotel at night.
