As Myleene Klass once again delights the nation in her second trip to the I’m a Celebrity jungle, many fans have been left curious about the star’s life before taking part in the South African series. While many fans will no doubt recognise her from her previous stint in the Australian jungle back in 2006, away from the bare basics of camp, Myleene is also an accomplished musician, mother and partner - but she's overcome a lot of tragedy and heartbreak to get there. In her 45 years on this earth, the singer has lived through some of the "worst days of her life", including four devastating miscarriages, a messy divorce and a difficult relationship with alcohol.
Although Myleene now has three children, she sadly lost four along the way before welcoming her youngest son, Apollo, now three, with fiancé Simon Motson.Touching on her grief in the heartbreakingly raw documentary Miscarriage & Me in 2021, she said: "I remember the despair, grief and anger. And the panic. But it wasn't until I looked back at my diaries that I realised how broken I was.” Struggling to come to terms with the gravity of her loss, Myleene struggled with grief for a long time, but did admit on the Dirty Mother Pukka podcast in 2022, that she had been comforted by the knowledge that every pregnancy permanently changes a mothers DNA.
“I'll tell you something that's quite magical. Your body holds the DNA. I didn't know this,” she explained to host Anna Whitehouse.
