How Tom Parker made sure his family were provided for before his untimely death

By buying a “forever home” and writing a book just months before his death from brain cancer, Tom Parker ensured that his young family were always provided for. Tom, who tragically passed away at the age of 33 on Wednesday 30 March, was first diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in 2020. But despite his gruelling cancer journey, the doting dad - who leaves behind his wife Kelsey, 32, and their two young children, Aurelia, two, and Bodhi, one - made sure that his family were prioritised over everything.

During his appearance on the Channel 4 documentary Inside My Head in November 2021, the Glad You Came singer explained how he’d purchased a “forever home” for his young family.
He said: “This is gonna be our forever home. “It's important for me that obviously the kids and Kels have got somewhere nice to grow up. “I don't know what's going to happen with my health over the next few years, so as long as they're alright and they're all good here, that's all that matters.
“We're all going to grow old together here, fingers crossed.” The star continued: “Been through tough times to be honest and I'm preparing to buy a place like this, who would have thought? I'm proud of myself.” A week before his death, Tom announced that he had written a book about his experience. Revealing that it was available to pre-order and scheduled for a July release, Tom explained how the memoir, titled Hope, was about “finding hope in whatever situation you're dealt”.
