How Princess Eugenie and Beatrice are taking mum-style tips from Kate Middleton

The Duchess of Cambridge is set to celebrate her 40th birthday this weekend surrounded by her nearest and dearest.

Kate Middleton reaches the big 4-0 this week is a pivotal moment in the duchess’ life – and, indeed, a pivotal moment for the monarchy, especially since Kate’s taking an increasingly more central role in the family as the Queen scales back her duties.

When it comes to Christmas, we rarely see the Royal Family enjoying the festivities. However, the one time we do see them is as they take part in the traditional visit to St Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas Day in Sandringham – which wont be happening this year due to Covid fears.Throughout the years we have seen Kate Middleton stun on each of these occasions, however it has been revealed that there was one outfit in particular that she wasn't a fan of.

On Christmas Day we are normally treated to a small glimpse of what the Royal Family get up to as they all venture to St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. On the big day we see the likes of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and, of course, The Queen dressed in their finest to partake in the tradition.

Christmas lockdown. This means many of us are getting out of the Big Smoke for the big day - and that even includes our favourite royals.

Kate Middleton and Prince William, both 39, are gearing up to spend Christmas in Norfolk with some of the Middleton family, according to reports. They will be joined by their three children Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, for a festive family occasion after Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was unfortunately forced to change her plans recently.

The Cambridge family released their 2021 Christmas card earlier in December, and it featured the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their three children on holiday in Jordan. Kate, 39, and William, also 39, can be seen beaming in the relaxed snap as they sit together with their children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three.
