Manchester United managerial candidate Mauricio Pochettino has suffered a torrid run of form lately and reports suggest it could cost Paris Saint-Germain £17million to sack the Argentine and his staff.
United have been searching for a permanent head coach since the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November. The former Tottenham boss has been heavily linked with the post, as he was prior to taking on the role in the French capital.
Since their shock Champions League last-16 exit to Real Madrid, Pochettino and his side have been under immense scrutiny. Criticism intensified after Sunday's dismal 3-0 defeat to Monaco, though his side still hold a strong lead at the top of Ligue 1.

According to French outlet L'Equipe, it could cost PSG £17m to dismiss Pochettino and his coaching staff. The former Spurs head coach is nearing the final 12 months of his contract and he would receive the majority of said sum, pocketing a whopping £13m if he's to be relieved of his duties.
His assistants, it has been said, would receive £4m split across the four of them. Jesus Perez, who was with him in north London, is reported to earn €80,000-per-month (£66,000).
While Pochettino is certainly under consideration at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag is the preferred option. However, Sky Sports have revealed that, alongside the Dutchman and Pochettino, Luis Enrique and Julen Lopetegui are also in the running.
