If you’re flying from Manchester and driving to the airport is the best option for you then it’s important to be aware of how much parking costs. There are different options available depending on whether you plan to leave your car at the airport during your holiday, or if you’re going to be getting a lift with a friend or relative.
The airport has different car parks you can use depending on which terminal you’re flying from. Each terminal car park also has ‘pick up’ zones for drivers who are collecting arrivals.
Manchester Airport does strongly recommend that holidaymakers book their parking space in advance if you intend to leave your car at the airport while you’re away. This means you can secure a space and pay a cheaper price.

There are options for parking on the day (Turn Up and Park) at each of the airport’s car parks: the T1 Short Stay, T3 and T2 West Multi Storey Long Stay car parks. When you arrive you’ll need to take a token from the entrance barrier and male a payment at any of the automatic ticket machines found in and around the terminal buildings.
Or you can insert your token at the exit barrier and pay with a credit or debit card. There's no longer an entry barrier at the T1 Short Stay car park, with payments being made via cash machines or at the exit barrier.
If you’re collecting someone from the airport, there are pick up zones in each terminal car park. The T1 Pick Up zone is located in T1 Short Stay car park, T2 Pick Up zone is located on Level 0 of T2 West Multi Storey Car Park and the T3 Pick Up zone is accessed through T3 Multi Storey Car Park
