The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has launched a new campaign urging older people and their families living in Scotland or other parts of the UK, to check eligibility for Pension Credit, a benefit which could be worth more than £3,300 each year.

State Pension provides essential financial support for over 12.4 million older people across the UK, including some 981,399 Scots.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed that State Pension payments will increase by 3.1% in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from Monday April 11, 2022.
