Jeremy Plager, a 25-year veteran of CAA, is exiting the agency to launch his own production and management company. Plager is known for representing such A-listers as Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson, Gerard Butler, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Jesse Eisenberg, Hugh Grant, Jane Fonda, Kevin Costner, Sally Field and Donald Sutherland, among many others.

A second sequel to the film Now You See Me is said to be happening over at Lionsgate. The project has a new writer in Eric Warren Singer, the man behind the likes of American Hustle and the forthcoming Top Gun: Maverick.

Karen Gillan is set to star and play two roles in director Riley Stearns’ satirical sci-fi thriller Dual, with Aaron Paul, Beulah Koale and Martha Kelly and Jesse Eisenberg. Stearns wrote the script and will produce alongside XYZ Films.  XYZ will handle global sales and co-represent the US with CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group, with a scheduled production start later this summer.

It was in 2013 when Louis Leterrier's film Now You See Me was released with a supremely talented cast to boast about, which included Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Mélanie Laurent, Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman. The heist film received mixed reviews but turned out to be a massive hit and subsequently spawned its sequel, Now You See Me: The Second Act, which saw the addition of Daniel Radcliffe and Lizzy Caplan as Isla's replacement.
