Plager is known for representing such A-listers as Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson, Gerard Butler, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Jesse Eisenberg, Hugh Grant, Jane Fonda, Kevin Costner, Sally Field and Donald Sutherland, among many others.

Edgar Wright has teamed up with his longtime collaborators and fellow Brit creative veterans Nira Park, Joe Cornish and Rachael Prior to launch a new production company, Complete Fiction, with three TV projects already lined up at Netflix. Complete Fiction – which will be based in both London and LA, working across both film and TV – is a formal consolidation of a 20-plus-year relationship between the key partners.

British documentary maker Louis Theroux's production company, Mindhouse Productions, has secured a first-look distribution deal with BBC Studios. The arrangement marks a return for Theroux (My Scientology Movie), who left the BBC's commercial arm just last year to set up the independent banner alongside his executive producer Arron Fellows and TV director Nancy Strang, with the aim of to tackling thought-provoking and complex subjects, some with Theroux attached onscreen.
In mid-March, as cities and states began to ban large gatherings throughout the country due to the spreading coronavirus pandemic, event production professionals saw the most prolific months of their business disappear in a matter of days. Some optimistic organizers have postponed festival and other event dates to later in the year, but many industry professionals have needed to find ways to supplement their incomes until large gatherings begin occurring again.
