The latest figures, compiled by Public Health England published on Thursday show that once again, a majority of areas in England have seen a rise in the number of new Covid-19 cases. Of the 315 local areas in England, 261 (83%) have seen a rise in case rates, 50 (16%) have seen a fall and four (1%) are unchanged.
