Tireless work from other parts of the Bolton Wanderers business have helped to make a successful January transfer window for the club and plug gaps that were left over from last summer, Ian Evatt has declared.
Wanderers had a successful summer transfer window and signed a total of nine players in total.
No transfer fees were parted with, however, even though Wanderers were then able to do so after coming out of an embargo which previously prevented them from doing so.

That has changed in January with Wanderers spending money to bring in the likes of Dion Charles, Aaron Morley and more recently Kyle Dempsey, in deals understood to have totalled more than £500,000 in all.
The Wanderers squad has been transformed over the course of the last month to plug gaps which Evatt felt Bolton were short after their summer business.
He believes there was a smart but cautious approach in the summer owing to uncertainty over revenue streams brought about by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, such as the return of fans and being able to operate the Bolton Whites Hotel as normal.
Those streams returning has helped to allow Bolton to recruit assets on the pitch and the Wanderers boss paid tribute to those behind the scenes who have helped make the club's January transfer additions a reality.
Evatt said: “It’s been a process and we knew in the summer where we were short and where we weren’t short.
"We always have to remember that this board have worked ridiculously hard to get this club to where it is right now and there were still so many things, so many uncertain things that were happening in the summer.
