Ian Evatt says Bolton Wanderers have space in their squad to make room for new signings but that some players have options to head out on loan and could be deregistered if they do not take that up.
Wanderers are seeking to make two more acquisitions before the January transfer window shuts on Monday evening at 11pm.
Bolton have made five new acquisitions in January so far with the permanent signings of forwards Dion Charles and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, as well as midfielder Aaron Morley.

This has been supplemented by the loan signings of James Trafford and Marlon Fossey.
Two more are being sought, one of which includes Gillingham captain Kyle Dempsey who Wanderers see as their replacement for Antoni Sarcevic in the attacking midfield role.
Evatt said there is room in the squad to bring in the two prospective new players within the EFL squad list, which restricts League One sides to 22 players over the age of 21.
That could lead to those over that age and down the pecking order at Wanderers potentially heading out on loan, with the likes of Nathan Delfouneso and Andrew Tutte among those who could fit the bill and are both out of contract in the summer, with both having picked up limited minutes and the latter facing a congested midfield.
And if they do not take that option, then they could be deregistered from the squad list for the second half of the season, with Evatt vowing that sentiment will not come into his decision making.
Evatt said: “We have got room. To be honest, there are certain players in the squad who have loan options and if they choose not to take them then we have the option to deregister them.
