Holly Willoughby 'won't tolerate' Phillip Schofield jibes following Eamonn Holmes criticism

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby has shared a selfie as she basks in the March sun after she tested positive for Covid-19 last week. The positive test forced the presenter, 41, to pull out of the live semi-final show of Dancing on Ice just hours before it aired as well as her hosting duties on This Morning this week. Mum-of-three Holly took to her Instagram on Saturday to share a selfie in the garden as she took in the spring sun.The blonde beauty went makeup-free with her hair pulled back and she had her eyes closed as she tilted her head towards the sun.

An apparent "awkward" moment of tension between Phillip Schofield and Ruth Langsford was noticed by This Morning viewers. On Monday's edition of the show, Phil was joined by Josie Gibson, who was standing in for Holly Willoughby after she tested positive for Covid, when the show cut to a brief of what was coming up on Loose Women.The segment was hosted by 61 year old Ruth, whose husband Eamonn Holmes has a very rocky relationship with Phil. Phil kept his words to a minimum as he passed over to Ruth, and viewers noticed that he didn't say, "Thank you, Ruth" when the camera focused back on him.

So it's perhaps unsurprising that ITV bosses were sent into a 'tail spin' when Holly Willoughby revealed she had tested positive for Covid-19 this weekend. "ITV have been really careful to make sure their presenters are working in the most Covid safe was so it's a real blow that Holly tested positive," an ITV source told OK! They said the timing could not have been worse, coming as it did in the wake of Philip Schofield being forced to miss shows when he himself tested positive and Holly's period of absence while she filmed Wim Hof's Superstar Survival with comic Lee Mack.
