Holly Willoughby has remained firmly out of the spotlight since quitting This Morning in October, but she's soon set to return to TV screens on Dancing on Ice and it looks like she's also got other potential projects in the pipeline.
The 42 year old will be making her highly anticipated TV comeback alongside co-host Stephen Mulhern on the new series of Dancing On Ice, which kicks off in January, but she may be looking to venture into radio presenting, according to new reports. Holly is said to be one of the names the BBC are considering as a replacement for Claudia Winkleman on BBC Radio 2, after she quit her weekly slot in December.
A source told The Sun: “After she quit This Morning, she has more time on her hands and a weekly radio gig could be the perfect fit. Claudia Winkleman stepped down from her weekly slot on Radio 2 and the BBC would love to see if Holly would consider it.” It's not only the BBC that are keen to sign Holly up for radio work however, as Global have also got the TV star on their radar.
The source added: “Global is also keen to see if she’d work with them, especially after Amanda Holden proved to be such a hit for them on Heart and Kate Garraway on Smooth Radio.
There have been a number of approaches to Holly which she can weigh up whenever she is ready.” OK! has contacted representatives for Holly Willoughby. A new weekly radio gig could prove to be the perfect fit for Holly, as the mum-of-three now has more time on her hands away from This Morning, and her BBC show, Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof, has reportedly been axed after just one series.
The show made its debut in 2022 and was hosted by Holly and comedian Lee mack. Eight celebrities were put to the test in sub-zero temperatures by Iceman Wim
