Holly Willoughby has penned a sweet tribute to her parents as they celebrated the 45th wedding anniversary. Holly, 41, reshared a photograph posted by her sister Kelly, and used her mum and dad’s special day to gush about their “true love”. In the snap, the TV presenter’s dad Brian can be seen loving putting his arm around his wife Linda as they both beamed at the camera.
Holly captioned the post: “Happy 45th wedding anniversary… when my mum woke this morning she said to me… ‘I know he loves me, because after I watered the garden this morning my feet where so cold so he took his warm slippers off and gave them to me’…. Life lesson… find a man who shares his slippers… #truelove #couplegoals”. Holly’s celebrity pals were quick to wish Brian and Linda a happy anniversary as well.
“Oh my god that’s so so lovely,” penned Davina McCall, as Alan Shearer replied with a string of clapping hands and heart-eye emojis. “Why was your dad wearing your mums slippers ?! That’s what 45 years of being under the thumb does for you !!!!!! Linda W won’t even let Bri W have his own slippers . RUN FOR THE HILLS Bri !!!!” The Chase’s Bradley Walsh quipped.
“Kindness and cherishing your partner …..beautiful,” added fellow This Morning star Ateh Jewel. Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter. You can sign up at the top of the page.
