‘High Fidelity’ EPs Talk The Importance Of The Gender-Flipping Storyline In Hulu Series Adaptation; Watch New Trailer– TCA

Hulu’s updated version of the 2000 John Cusack-led, Stephen Frears-helmed, Nick Hornby-authored classic “High Fidelity” is the type of show that can — unironically — play the perfect song for every moment. And the team brought in to oversee that very delicate process was Manish Raval, Tom Wolfe and Alison Rosenfeld.

Hulu's adaptation of High Fidelity is a curious love letter to send on Valentine's Day. As fans of Nick Hornby's 1995 novel or the 2002 movie starring John Cusack already know, the narrative follows Rob, a record shop owner who can't see that his neuroses — like his obsession for cataloging music — are ruining his relationships.

To rewatch High Fidelity, the 2000 John Cusack vehicle about a music snob in denial about just how badly his most recent breakup has shaken him, is to realize we've never left it behind.

For a show built around its central character’s obsession with music, “High Fidelity” makes some pretty generic choices.

Hulu's upcoming Hillary Clinton documentary isn't shying away from controversy. 

Magnolia Pictures has released a new trailer for Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and the Band, a forthcoming documentary produced by Martin Scorsese. The film, which hits theaters February 21, is directed by Daniel Roher, and largely focuses on Robertson’s personal journey, including a glimpse into his life before the Band.
