Elie Youan and Martin Boyle have been named as 'dream players' for Nick Montgomery as he aims to continue his unbeaten spell as Hibs boss.
After Boyle missed most of last season and a World Cup chance due to a serious knee injury and Youan blew hot and cold on loan from St Gallen, there has been a change in fortunate now Boyle has returned to fitness and youan made his switch from Switzerland permanent in the summer.
But the duo have been lightning hot all season. Youan's double against Hearts at Tynecastle and Boyle's authoritative performances on the season have given fans of the Leith club reason to smile again, and with a plethora of capable strikers, times are good at Easter Road. And pundit Mark Wilson has stated that Nick Montgomery needs to follow Aberdeen's blueprint from their win at Ibrox by utilising the wide men if they are to win.
Wilson told Clyde 1: "Without doubt. Their front four is as quick and direct as any out there - the problem Hibs have got out there is that they don't turn up every week.
"But if you've got [Martin] Boyle and [Elie] Youan on the other, it's what every team dreams of. Direct, out and out pace that can stretch you, and it's never good for any full back to play against that.
"Hibs will carry a threat, there's no doubt about it. If you look at the blueprint and the way Aberdeen set up a couple of weeks ago [at Ibrox], then it certainly gives you the correct foundations.
"But I just think it will be a different Rangers side personally. Individually, it will be a different performance than the one we witnessed at Ibrox that day."
