As the UK recovers from a week of battering from three different storms, the weather across the country should begin to mellow out somewhat.
'Heavy snow' falls in northern Scotland as ice and traffic warnings issued today

An ice weather warning from the Met Office is in force in Scotland until 11am for much of western Scotland and parts of the central belt.
Road users have been cautioned about icy patches, slips and fall after wintry showers blew in yesterday with dropping temperatures.
Scotland's gritters are out in full force this morning across the country as images show 'heavy snow' across trunk roads in the north west.
BBC Weather Scotland reports the mixture of hail, sleet and snow will keep coming today in these areas.
Traffic Scotland warned drivers in Aberdeenshire, Dundee, Perth and Kinross to use caution due to low temperatures.
North West Trunk Road Unit tweeted: "Heavy #Snow on the #A835 at #Braemore. 1 gritter on site and another heading there, please #DriveSafe & #TakeCare!"
Road users have also been cautioned about high winds on the A87 Skye Bridge.
CalMac advised people needing the Ardrossen ferry to do so before midday today due to high tides to come in the afternoon.
It comes as Met Office warned of blizzard conditions on Friday morning, as temperatures struggle to get above freezing.
