Storm Franklin is battering Scotland today as flood and wind warnings are in place during the country's wild weather outburst in just days.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for high-speed winds as a total of 15 flood warnings are in place across the country.
The 16 alerts are in place despite the fact that Scotland will escape the worst of the storm.
Southwest Scotland and parts of the west coast have been warned to prepare for very strong winds.
Three 'flood alerts' and 12 of the more severe 'flood warnings' by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) cover areas in central Scotland, the Scottish Borders, Tayside, Argyle, Ayrshire and Bute.
It's been an extreme weather period as Storm Franklin follows in the wake of Storm Eunice and Storm Dudley with a thrashing of rain, wind and snow.

The Met Office warning says: "Further periods of very strong winds on Sunday and Monday, with possible disruption."
Travel disruptions across the board, property damage and even power cuts could occur due to Storm Franklin.
Gusts could vary widely from 50 to 60mph whilst 65 to 75mph gusts could batter west facing coastal areas.
