Manchester City now know their fixture schedule for the forthcoming 2022/23 season. The Champions kick-off against West Ham on August 7 and finish their league campaign at Brentford on May 28.
The itinerary looks to have given City an apparently benign start, but October could be a huge test of their trophy-winning credentials. That month sees them facing Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal alongside three Champions League matchdays.
The run-in has its challenges too with Chelsea pinned as the final visitors to the Etihad in the penultimate fixture of the Premier League season.
