Prince Harry took a brutal dig at Queen Camilla in his explosive memoir.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, has coined an unusual moniker for his stepmother, 76, dubbing her the "Other Woman". In his tell-all book Spare, Harry discloses that Camilla's affair with his father, Charles, left him and his brother, Prince William, feeling "confused" and "tormented" during their younger years.
Harry's controversial book mentions Camilla no fewer than 60 times, revealing that he and William pleaded with their father not to wed her. He recounts a poignant moment where both brothers "sensed the presence" of a third person in their parents' notoriously rocky marriage, alleging that it caused Prince William to experience "tremendous guilt" upon the union of King Charles and Queen Camilla.
In his memoir, Harry reflects on Princess Diana's famous BBC Panorama interview, where she stated: "There were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded". He then suggests that his mother's "maths was off", as she didn't consider the emotional impact the royal love triangle had on her children, reports the Mirror.
Harry penned in his memoir: "She left Willy and me out of the equation," detailing their limited grasp on the turmoil within their parents' marriage, yet acknowledging they were aware something was amiss. He elaborated: "We didn't understand what was going on with her and Pa, certainly, but we intuited enough, we sensed the presence of the Other Woman, because we suffered the downstream effects."
