The stars are hitting the red carpet in New York City!

The upcoming 21st season of Grey’s Anatomy is likely going to look a lot different than the current one as the cast is going through a big shakeup.
Two actors have already been confirmed to leave the show, though they will appear in a few episodes next season to wrap up their storylines.
Major changes are also expected for some of the longtime stars of the show. A budget cut for season 21 has led to an episode reduction for lead character, with some of the show’s established stars being guaranteed less episodes.
Instead of lowering each cast member’s per-episode rate, the production company is going to give each actor less episodes to lower their overall compensation. Deadline reports that “episodic guarantees are being renegotiated and are expected to go down across the board.”
