Temperatures are set to drop sharply over the coming days, but Greater Manchester looks likely to miss the worst of the cold weather set to sweep across parts of the UK.
In keeping with much of this week, after a chilly start to Easter Sunday, there were bright sunny spells late in the morning and early afternoon.
More sunny spells are forecast into the evening.
