Coronavirus infection rates have gone up in all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester.
Trafford now has the highest infection rate in Greater Manchester, replacing Stockport. The borough recorded a rate of 359.5 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending March 7, according to the latest data from the UK Health Security Agency.
The lowest infection rate is in Rochdale, where the rate is 160.1 cases per 100,000 people.
In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 258.8 cases per 100,000 population. The infection rate in the region is lower than the national average, which is 427.4 cases per 100,000 people.

A total of 7,340 people tested positive for coronavirus across Greater Manchester in the week which ended on March 7. The Greater Manchester weekly total has increased by 2,340 cases compared to the previous week, which means the infection rate was up 47 per cent in the last week.
The infection rate is still lower than the national average in all ten local authorities in Greater Manchester, however.
In the week ending on March 06, a total of 335 patients were admitted to Greater Manchester NHS hospitals with Covid-19. That is 27 more than the week before, a rise of nine per cent.
