Good Morning Britain's Ranvir fights back tears at Ukrainian family's heart-wrenching story

Ranvir Singh was left emotional after speaking with a Ukrainian family about their heart-wrenching journey to safety in the UK. The Good Morning Britain presenter is stepping in for Lorraine Kelly on her morning show and interviewed a Ukrainian family who have started a new life in Somerset.
Natalie, a mother of three, has taken in mother and son Christina and Sasha, who fled Ukraine after Russia invaded five weeks ago. But so few really have reached this point where you are.” Natalie admitted that even as a lawyer she found the form very difficult to fill out and that it had been tricky trying to find the right match for both families throughout the process. She added: “Once I’d found Christina and chatted to her on social media, I knew that there was an instant connection and an instant bond, and that her and Sasha would fit into our family dynamic really well.” After filling out the visa application it took five days before it was confirmed that Sasha and Christina would be joining their family in Somerset.
