Gogglebox star Julie Malone took to social media to wish her “other half” Tom a happy birthday. Posting on Instagram on Wednesday 19 April, Julie shared a glam snap with her husband to mark his special day. “Happy birthday to my other half, my pain in the backside, the person who comes on ghost hunts with me even though he is terrified,” Julie quipped.
“Thanks for all you do for us all, love Julie." Replying to the post, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Danny Miller wrote: “Happy birthday big man! Have a belter." “Happy birthday Tom mate, hope you have a great day love dave and shirley xx,” added Tom and Julie’s fellow Gogglebox favourites Dave and Shirley Griffiths. Mica Ven, who recently left the show alongside husband Marcus Luther, also wished Tom a happy birthday. Julie also shared a video of Tom and a friend having a boogie at a Manchester bar as they hit the town to celebrate his birthday.
Tom’s son, Tom Junior, also took to social media to send his dad a sweet message. Alongside a funny video of them dancing together at what appears to be a wedding, Tom wrote: “Happy Birthday Dad [...] Theres a prize for anyone that can name a better father and son dancing duo!” “(ps there’s actually no prize so please don’t anybody hold me to that),” he added. Elsewhere, his daughter Vanessa shared a series of snaps of Tom with his grandkids as she paid tribute to him.
“Happy Birthday Dad/ Grandad,” she wrote. “We love you lots and appreciate everything that you do for us." Tom recently left Gogglebox fans in fits of laughter as the family’s dog, Dave, knocked him off the sofa. The funny moment began with Tom aiming to display his talents after watching scenes on an episode of Sara Pascoe's TV show, Last Woman on Earth.
