Gogglebox fans send 'get well soon' messages to star after they share health update

Gogglebox fans have been offering their get well soon wishes to one of the show's stars after she shared a health update with her social media followers. Julie Malone, who is a regular cast member on the Channel 4 show with her husband and children, often updates her fans with how her week is going between episodes. But on Thursday, Julie shared that she was having a tough week as she had come down with a bad cold and posted a video on Instagram that showed her looking unwell on her familiar sofa that features in Gogglebox, while she wished her followers a happy St Andrew's Day.
She told fans: "Good morning everybody. I've woke up and I'm full of a cold but just thought I'd come on and wish everybody a happy St Andrew's Day. "Have a lovely day whatever you're doing, and keep warm.

Julie was showered with get well soon messages by her fans, as one person commented: "aw hope you feel better soon Julie x" Someone else added: "Get well soon hun," while another fan wrote: "Oh Julie, hope you feel better very soon xxx" One of Julie's loyal Instagram followers commented: "Absolute legend of a woman. Get well soon." Other praised her for still thinking of her fans as one person wrote: "Awww, so thoughtful even when you are so poorly.
Take Care get well soon. Huge hug." The Malone family have had a tough time in recent weeks as in October they shared the sad news that one of their Rottweiler dogs, Dave, had passed away.
Viewers are used to seeing the Malones' dogs who often join them in their living room for Gogglebox, and shared in the family's sadness that they had lost Dave.
