Prime Video will release “Like a Dragon,” a live-action series adaptation of the SEGA game franchise “Yakuza Like a Dragon.” The six-part crime-suspense-action series is directed by Take Masaharu (“100 Yen Love”) and Takimoto Kengo (“Kamen Teacher”) and stars Takeuchi Ryoma (multiple “Kamen Rider” titles) as the lead character, Kiryu Kazuma. It will upload to Prime Video in two batches of three episodes on Oct. 25 and Nov.

BTS member RM has released a music video for ‘Groin’, a cut from his new solo album, ‘Right Place, Wong Person’.The new music video for ‘Groin’ was filmed in London and helmed by Japanese director Pennacky, per The Korea Herald. The deal, which expands the company’s 15-year partnership with Parker, encompasses his entire catalog of songs as well as future works. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

He also released a video for the album’s song “Little Foot Big Foot,” directed by Hiro Murai, featuring Young Nudy. He will follow with what he says is the last installment of the Gambino project, which will serve as the soundtrack to his film “Bando Storm and the New World.” Willow will support the AEG-produced tour in North America and Amaarae in Europe.

Patrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief Tencent Music Entertainment, China’s largest online music corporation, got smaller but more profitable in the first quarter of 2024. That continued a trend seen previously in the company’s 2023 accounts. Revenues in the January to March quarter weighed in at $937 million (RMB6.77 billion), a 3% decrease compared with the same quarter last year. But profits after tax increased 28% to $212 million (RMB1.53 billion). Monthly active users across its free and paid for tiers decreased by 2% to 592 million.
