Georgia has announced that she will release the follow-up to her 2020 album ‘Seeking Thrills’ this summer. Titled ‘Euphoric’, the new record was co-produced by Rostam – the first time she has worked with another producer.
Out now is first single ‘It’s Euphoric’.Having recorded her previous two albums in her bedroom, Georgia says of the decision to up sticks, move to LA and get in the studio with Rostam: “I wanted an adventure! Being a self-produced musician, it’s easy to get stuck on one thing or in one place”.She adds that she was keen to give up some of the control over the creation of her past music and focus on making an album that would surrender “to my issues, to my past, to my flaws and to the healing process”.‘Euphoric’ is set for release on 28 Jul. Ahead of that and some festival dates this summer, Georgia will play a one-off show at Omeara in London on 20 Apr.

Le Tigre have announced a variety of support acts for their first UK and European tour in 18 years.The Kathleen Hanna-fronted band will be supported in London by Dream Wife, Glasgow and Manchester by Problem Patterns, Paris by Big Joanie and Chicks On Speed in Amsterdam, Berlin and Hamburg. Turnstile have rescheduled their upcoming Brixton Academy gig in London and announced a new date in Manchester.The hardcore band announced their biggest UK gig to date in London last year, which was originally set for May 30.Now, the gig has been pushed back to August 15, with a new gig at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse now added for the following day. They will be the band’s only UK shows of 2023.Brixton Academy is set to remain closed until April following the fatal crowd crush at an Asake concert at the venue in December – with a number of gigs beyond that now being relocated, including the Turnstile show and a gig from Dublin’s Inhaler.After the venue’s licence was temporarily suspended until January 16, Lambeth Council said that they would meet again on that date to discuss the future of the venue.
