Nick Vivarelli International Correspondent Dissident Iranian director Jafar Panahi’s travel ban has suddenly been lifted after 14 years, allowing the acclaimed auteur and his wife Tahereh Saeedi to reportedly leave Iran for an undisclosed location. Saeedi on Tuesday night posted a picture on Instagram showing her arriving with her husband at an undisclosed airport. It is captioned: “After 14 years, Jafar’s ban was cancelled and finally we are going to travel together for a few days…” Panahi, 62, was temporarily released from prison last month after going on a hunger strike to protest “the illegal and inhumane behavior” of Iran’s judiciary. He was out on bail.

Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band have announced the support acts for their BST Hyde Park shows in London.Announced today (April 20), The Boss shared the three acts that will be joining his band on July 6 and 8.On the first date they will be supported by The Chicks and Frank Turner and his touring band The Sleeping Souls.The Chicks will also return for the second date along with James Bay. The shows are part of Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band’s forthcoming UK tour which also includes shows at BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on May 30 and Villa Park in Birmingham on June 16.

Depeche Mode have announced the acts that will be joining them as support on their upcoming ‘Memento Mori’ tour.Announced today (April 12), the band – which is comprised of Martin Gore and Dave Gahan – shared the five acts that will be joining them for their string of tour dates across the continent and the UK later this year.The update was shared on Instagram, where the iconic duo announced that Cold Cave and Young Fathers would be among the names joining them throughout their 34 upcoming shows.Other newly-announced artists joining them include Berlin-based band Hope, former Savages singer turned solo star Jehnny Beth and British trip-hop band Haelos.The European leg of the tour kicks off next month with two performances in the Netherlands, taking place on May 16 and May 18. New Order have announced details of a UK and European tour, with Confidence Man due to support – see full dates below.The new dates follow a run of shows in North America in March which included a performance and in conversation key-note speech with the band at the SXSW Festival.The band also performed earlier in the same week as part of Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater.New Order will begin their upcoming tour on September 21 at Copenhagen Royal Arena, before heading to Amsterdam, Paris, London, Dublin and Glasgow. They finish up in Leeds at the First Direct Arena on October 7.Tickets for the tour will be on sale this Friday, April 14 at 9.30am.

Coldplay have announced the support acts for their upcoming 2023 UK and European ‘Music Of The Spheres’ tour dates.The band have been on tour across the planet since last spring, and played a host of UK stadium gigs last summer including six sold-out Wembley Stadium gigs.This summer, the band will return to the UK and Europe for further stadium dates following gigs in South America. Across May, June and July, the band will play Portugal, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and more, with two new UK dates in Manchester and Cardiff.The new dates will kick off in Coimbra, Portugal on May 17, before the band will play two shows at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on May 31 and June 1.Leading the list of support names for the stadium shows are Griff and Chvrches, the latter of whom supported the band in South America, with vocalist Lauren Mayberry joining them on stage in São Paulo.Other bands set to support Coldplay include Hinds and Porij.
