George Clooney reveals how the pandemic changed his film ‘The Midnight Sky’

George Clooney is looking back on the parallels between the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and his latest film, "The Midnight Sky." The film follows Clooney's Artic-based scientist, Augustine, working hard in near-isolation to prevent astronauts from returning to a post-apocalyptic Earth. "It was an interesting thing," said the Hollywood titan of the similarities between his character's situation and what's happening in the world today when speaking to Fox News.

Sometimes a downer of a movie can make you feel a little better about life, serving as a reminder that things aren’t as bad as they could be. The Midnight Sky, a glum science-fiction reverie directed by George Clooney may serve that function for some people.
