Sophie Kasaei has revealed that a botched Brazilian butt lift (BBL) left her fearing for her life. After the procedure went wrong, the Geordie Shore star, 34, was rushed into hospital. Sophie revealed that she underwent the surgery ten years ago.
In a TikTok video opening up about the terrifying experience, she said: "As someone who didn't really have many curves, I was like this is amazing. "I can look like Kim Kardashian. My bum wasn't the best, but looking back now, I wish I'd just got filler or went to the gym." Sharing that she had jetted off to Turkey for the surgery, she continued: "When I arrived in Turkey I then went under the procedure and got the surgery.
"A couple of days later I looked at myself in the mirror and went, 'Wait. Should I be this bruised? Should I look like this?' The holes on my back as well. I looked like a sieve.
I've just got burns marks all over my back where they went through." At first, Sophie thought she just needed to give her body time to recover, but eight weeks later she was in "agony". She recalled: "I started getting a pain in my left bum cheek. I thought, 'This can't be right.
I am in agony.' "I was in Mexico at the time, and I actually went to a hospital there.
They put me on a drip and started panicking. Everyone was running around." In hospital she was told that she had an abscess growing on her bum, and that if it burst she would die. Discussing the terrifying experience, Sophie continued: "I told them to book me on a flight home because if I'm going to die, I want to die with my family around me.
"So off I was back to Newcastle. I went straight to hospital. I had to stay in there overnight, wake up in the morning and go straight into surgery for them to drain this abscess
