Full list of Netflix films and shows arriving in January - including Fool Me Once and Mamma Mia Here We Go Again

As the new year gets underway, there are plenty of new shows and films joining Netflix to keep us entertained.
2023 was a huge year for the streaming service, with massive shows including Squid Game: The Challenge, Ginny and Georgia and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story among the most-watched. There are loads of exciting new releases to look forward to in 2024 - including dramas, documentaries and comedy specials.
New thriller Fool Me Once, which stars Michelle Keegan and was filmed in Greater Manchester, releases on New Year's Day. The eight-part drama, written by Harlan Coben, follows Stockport-born Michelle as Maya, a grieving wife who makes a shocking discovery after the death of her husband Joe, played by Richard Armitage.

On a lighter note, Abba fans will be happy to hear that Mamma Mia! joins the streaming service from New Year's Day - however, it appears as though only the second film - Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again!, is landing in the UK. Meanwhile, 2019's edition of Cats joins Netflix later this month.
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara stars as Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco, in brand new series Griselda which debuts towards the end of January. Griselda ran one of the most profitable cartels in history and was prominent in the cocaine trade from the 70s until the early 2000s.
Later on this month, comedian Jack Whitehall returns with a new show titled Settle Down. It explores the much-loved comedian's approach to recent life changes - including becoming a dad for the first time after the birth of his daughter Elsie in early September.
