Frankie Essex has revealed that she’s been “scammed again” as she hit out at the people behind it. Former TOWIE star and OK! columnist Frankie took to Instagram on Saturday, 1 April, to express her frustrations as she labelled the ordeal as “daylight robbery”. She wrote on her Story: “We have been scammed again.
I will be sharing I’m just taking this further it’s such a shame people kindly rob other people”. “Scamming is basically a polite way of daylight robbery,” Frankie added. The reality TV star is yet to share anymore details about the ordeal and how much she's lost as a result.
Frankie isn’t alone in being scammed out of money by fraudsters, the likes of Amy Hart, Helen Skelton and Adam Rickett have also experienced similar financial loss. Former Hollyoaks star Adam revealed on Good Morning Britain in September that he was "completely conned" out of "tens of thousands of pounds" in a horror bank fraud incident. The 44 year old actor, who is known for playing Kyle Kelly in hit soap Hollyoaks between 2017 and 2020, was joined by his wife Katy, who is a GMB correspondent.
