Richard Madeley was grilled about whether he'd join I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 's All Stars on Monday's Good Morning Britain. The presenter, 66, was forced to leave the ITV show early in 2021 after he was taken to hospital.
Richard had fallen ill while staying on-set in Gwrych Castle at the ITV show’s North Wales location and due to breaking the Covid bubble with his visit to hospital, he had to leave the camp. During Monday's GMB, Richard and co-host Susanna Reid discussed the new line-up, which includes Paul Burrell, Helen Flanagan and Carol Vorderman - to name a few.
And it got Susanna, 52, questioning if Richard would ever appear on it or return to the jungle after his 2021 stint was short-lived.To which he explained: "I broke the Covid bubble for about two hours, so I couldn't go back in. I was having a good time, I did enjoy it, I know some people do it and then regret it.
But I didn't it was really good fun. "I suppose journalistically, I was seeing it from the inside, this TV institution and would I go back to South Africa? No! "I never believe in going back, when you've done something, you've done it and for me to go back and do it again would be just repeating an experiment I have already done." To which Susanna admitted: "That's such a shame!" The new series will see our favourite stars swap the Aussie outback for a stint in the South African jungle, which is tipped by show bosses to be an even harder proposition which will push them to their limits and test them like never before.
