In Cindy Holland‘s first executive hire since she joined Sister as Global CEO in July, the former Netflix head of original content has brought in another former exec at the streamer, Efrain Miron.
In a newly created role as President, Strategy and Business Affairs, Miron will work closely with Holland and Sister co-Founders Elisabeth Murdoch and Jane Featherstone on the company’s growth strategy, including the production and distribution of films and series, as well as global investments and partnerships. Miron’s focus will be on the US studio and portfolio companies, working alongside Dan Isaacs who is the company’s top UK-based business executive.
Miron was one of the first members of Netflix’s original programming team led by Holland. He spent nine years at the streamer, most recently as VP, Business & Legal Affairs, leaving several months after Holland’s September 2020 exit. During his time at Netflix, Miron led business affairs for several divisions, including the UK units, Young Adult/Family series and most recently the company’s Overall Deals group. He spearheaded negotiations for a slew of series, including hits like The Crown and Wednesday.

Miron began his career in the Los Angeles office of the law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.
