Amy Slaton, sister of Tammy from 1000-lb Sisters, and her ex-husband Michael Halterman have reportedly settled their divorce.
The couple split earlier this year, just a few months after Amy gave birth to their son. Amy, 35, was said to have moved out of their family home in Kentucky with their two children, Gage and Glenn.
Although it wasn't believed that Amy had filed for divorce at the time, she was expected to do so soon. Now, it appears that the couple's divorce has been officially finalised, having been divorced for nearly two months now.
According to court documents obtained by the U.S. Sun, Amy and her 40 year old ex finalised their divorce on September 6, 2023.
This came after Michael filed for dissolution of marriage with children against Amy on March 13.
The documents included a note which read: "Marital settlement agreement is approved and incorporated by reference as if set forth verbatim and the parties are ordered to obey the terms thereof." Michael was actually the first to file for divorce in March, just a month after Amy made domestic violence claims against him, which have now been dropped. This led to a lengthy custody battle that has now resulted in the couple sharing a parenting schedule.
The pair reportedly met in high school and had been together for several years before tying the knot in 2019.
They welcomed two children together before their bitter split and custody battle began.
This news follows Amy's sister Tammy posting a loving tribute and her respects to her estranged husband Caleb Willingham, after his sudden death, tragically aged just 40, from unknown causes. The reality star took to social media to post a loving picture of the duo from time spent at Christmas and told her followers that
