The former chief constable of Greater Manchester Police has accepted inaccurate information was sent by the force to the Kerslake Review in the aftermath of the Manchester Arena bombing.

Commissioned by Andy Burnham, the review assessed the preparedness for, and emergency response to, the May 2017 terror attack, which claimed 22 lives.

Ian Hopkins was GMP's chief constable at the time, but resigned last December
