Former Coronation Street star Hayley Tamaddon has told fans of her hospital dash as she got candid about dealing with her own health while also being a 'single working mum'.
The actress, who is also known for being on the soap Emmerdale and as a winner of ITV celebrity skating show Dancing On Ice, took to social media late on Wednesday evening (June 12) to reveal that having suffered from severe pain, she was taken to hospital and placed on a drip.
Hayley said she woke up and due to the pain thought her "head was gonna explode," before she vomited. The former soap star, who welcomed her son Jasper in 2019, says that after arriving at the hospital, she was started on a medication drip.

But she said her "head and neck pain was still horrendous" before being given a life-changing diagnosis. Sharing a post with her 98,300 followers, Hayley said: "Today. Woke up. Thought my head was gonna explode. Puked up twice. Took Jasper to nursery. Got ready for a photo shoot. Got there and realised I really should see a doctor. Ended up in hospital. On a drop for medication. It didn't work."
She added: "Head and neck pain still horrendous. Had a scan. Got told I have arthritis. Came home. Picked jasper up. Made tea. Put him to bed. Took some tablets. Had a cry Going back to the hospital tomorrow. Life of a single working mum."
