Police have put a 48-hour dispersal order on Formby Beach after a stabbing left three people in hospital.
The order covers the area surrounding the popular National Trust spot, the Liverpool Echo reports - and gives police the power to order people away from the area, and arrest them if they return.
It comes after two 20-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy were stabbed in an 'unprovoked attack' on Sunday (May 30)
